PREP / DEVICE
Before You Begin
First, confirm that the device can access the NeeVPN user panel normally, and note which operating system it uses. Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS have different installation entry points, but the process is the same: get the client for your system from the panel, import your account subscription, then choose a route and connect. This page does not provide static installer URLs or real subscription links; all delivery details are available after signing in to the user panel.
If a compatible client that supports subscription imports is already installed, you can continue using it, but first confirm that it can still update its configuration normally. If another service was previously imported, do not delete the old configuration immediately. Give the new subscription a clear name, test it, and organize the old settings afterward to avoid selecting the wrong configuration or deleting rules still in use. If the client is outdated, shows errors at startup, or has lost system authorization, check the current acquisition method in the user panel again.
The connection process requires the operating system to allow the client to create a network configuration. On the first run, Windows or macOS may request system permission, while Android and iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. These prompts are displayed by the operating system to establish the connection channel. Confirm that the client came from the NeeVPN panel before following the system prompts. For protocol differences, system networking details, and advanced split-routing rules, read the troubleshooting guide; this page focuses only on the main path to a first connection.
ACCOUNT / ACCESS
Create an Account and Open the Panel
After opening NeeVPN’s free access page, you will see the account creation form. Choose a memorable username that you do not reuse on other websites, set a unique password, and submit the form. NeeVPN requires no email address to create an account, so there is no email confirmation step; after submission, use the username and password you just set to enter the user panel.
After signing in, confirm that you are in the account area rather than still on the login form. The panel brings together links for Account Overview, plans, client downloads, orders, and support tickets. Payment status, subscription links, and client downloads are handled here, so save the user panel entry point and keep your username and password secure. If your browser autofill contains an old account, check the displayed username to avoid entering an account you do not intend to use.
If the form says the username already exists, try again with a different username. If the password fails validation, adjust its format according to the form instructions instead of repeatedly submitting the same details. If the login page keeps returning to its original state, verify the username and password, then check whether your browser is blocking the site from saving the login session. If you still cannot enter, request help through the user panel’s support ticket area. Common login issues are also covered in the FAQ section on accounts and subscriptions.
ORDER / PLAN
Choose a Plan and Place Your Order
In the Plans section, first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data bundles. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use, with data resetting each month from the activation date; data bundles draw down from a fixed allowance until it is used and never expire. Base your choice on how often you connect, what you transfer, and how long you use the service rather than looking only at the one-time price. Frequent file syncing, streaming, or long-term connections across multiple devices require room in your monthly allowance; occasional use with tighter control over consumption may suit a data bundle.
After selecting a plan, the order confirmation page shows the amount due and available payment methods. NeeVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Before submitting, check the plan type, data allowance, and amount, then proceed to payment. After payment, return to the user panel to check the order status. Do not judge activation only by whether the payment page closes; the import prerequisites are ready only when the panel shows the order as active and displays subscription information.
If payment is complete but the order status has not changed, refresh the order section and return to the panel later instead of creating the same order again. If it still does not sync, keep the order details and submit an issue through the support ticket area. When upgrading a monthly subscription midway through a term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. For questions about data resets, upgrades, or refund coverage, read the plan details first. NeeVPN offers a 60-day money-back guarantee; the exact request process follows the Terms of Service and the order record in the panel.
PROFILE / SUBSCRIPTION
Get Your Subscription from Account Overview
After the order takes effect, open Account Overview and find the subscription section. It provides the subscription information available to the current account and the controls needed to import it into a client. Use the panel’s copy function whenever possible to avoid missing characters during manual selection. Do not send the link in public chats, forums, or screenshots. It identifies the current account’s route permissions and should be stored only on devices you control, like account credentials.
A subscription link is usually a complete URL. A tutorial may show a structural example like the one below, but it is for illustration only: it cannot connect to NeeVPN and contains no valid account information:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Keep the panel open for now after copying. If the client says the link is invalid during import, return to Account Overview and copy it again to rule out spaces or missing characters at either end. Some clients call subscriptions configurations, remote configurations, or configuration files; these labels refer to the same type of import process. Do not paste the subscription link into a browser search box or save the text from an opened web page as a static configuration. Use the client’s subscription entry so updates can work normally later.
Account Overview is also the primary place to check service status. If the client suddenly cannot update, return here first to confirm that the plan is still available, then determine whether the issue is local networking, the client, or a route. This avoids repeatedly changing system network settings before confirming the account status.
IMPORT / CLIENT
Import the Subscription into Platform Clients
Open the client download area in the user panel and choose the client for your operating system. Do not look for installers with the same name on unknown pages or wait for a direct installer link on a marketing page; NeeVPN provides both client downloads and subscription delivery through the user panel. Launch the client after installation, then use the relevant platform section to find the import entry. A successful import usually shows a subscription name, an update time, or a list of available routes.
WINDOWS
Windows
In the panel’s client download area, select Windows and get the client and installation instructions for your system. After installation, launch the client and look in the sidebar, configuration page, or subscription manager for Add Subscription or Import from URL. Paste the subscription link you copied, give it a recognizable name, and save it.
Run an update after saving. The client should begin reading the remote configuration and show its contents on the configuration or route page. If only the subscription name appears and no routes are listed, click Update or Refresh first instead of enabling the system proxy. Once routes appear, select the newly imported configuration as the active one and continue to the connection steps. If Windows requests network permission on first use, verify the app source and follow the system prompt to allow it.
MACOS
macOS
Select the macOS client in the panel, install it, and launch it. The import entry is usually found under the menu bar icon, configuration manager, or subscription settings. Choose Add Subscription from URL, paste the link, save it, and run an update from the client’s main interface. macOS clients may show system proxy, enhanced mode, or VPN mode at the same time. On first use, follow the client’s default recommendation and do not enable multiple traffic-handling modes before verifying the connection.
On the first connection, the system may ask you to approve a network extension or add a VPN configuration. After granting permission, return to the client and confirm that the subscription is selected as the active configuration. If you closed the authorization window, click Connect again in the client to trigger it. If system settings contain an old inactive configuration, confirm what it is used for before removing it so other network tools are not affected.
ANDROID
Android
Select the Android client in the user panel and follow the panel instructions to obtain and install it. Open the app, go to the configuration or subscription page, tap Add, and choose Import from Link. Paste the subscription into the address field, enter a recognizable name, and confirm. Return to the list, tap Update, and wait for the routes to sync.
When you start connecting, Android displays a system VPN configuration permission dialog. Allow it so the client can establish the network channel. If the system stops the connection when the app goes into the background, check the client’s background activity and battery management settings. Menu locations vary widely by device manufacturer; this page does not list every option. Use the FAQ section on connections and troubleshooting to find guidance by symptom.
IOS
iOS
Check the user panel for the currently supported iOS client and acquisition instructions, then install and open it. Go to the subscription, configuration, or remote file page, choose Add via URL, paste the complete subscription link, and save it. Return to the configuration list, run an update, confirm that routes appear, and set this configuration as the active one.
The first time you tap Connect, iOS asks for permission to add a VPN configuration and may require device authentication to confirm the system change. After authorization, return to the client and watch the connection status. If the imported subscription is empty, check that the copied content contains no line breaks or spaces, then copy it again from Account Overview. Do not share the subscription through public sharing features or export the configuration to a location you do not control.
ROUTE / CONNECT
Choose a Route and Connect
After the subscription updates successfully, open the client’s route list. Choose a route based first on the region where the target service is located rather than fixing on one route at random. When regional consistency matters, keep the route’s exit region aligned with the service environment; for ordinary web access, start with a nearby route that connects consistently. NeeVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes. When the list is large, use the client’s search or grouping tools to narrow it down.
After choosing a route, leave proxy mode on the client’s default or rule-based setting, then click Connect. A Connected status only means that the network channel has been established; it does not by itself prove that every app’s traffic is using the selected route. The next section checks the exit address and real-world access. Do not run multiple clients that modify the system network path at the same time, as their configurations may override one another and make the interface appear normal while requests are routed incorrectly.
If clicking Connect immediately returns the client to Disconnected, try another route in the same region and check whether the subscription update completed successfully. If no route connects, close and reopen the client and confirm that system authorization is still valid. If only one app cannot connect, do not repeatedly reinstall the client; the cause may be the app’s cache, per-app rules, or proxy mode. See the per-app routing section of the troubleshooting guide for the recommended diagnostic order.
VERIFY / EGRESS
Verify That the Connection Works
After connecting, use a browser to check your current exit IP and region, then compare them with the result from before connecting. The exit region should match the route you selected. If the client says Connected but the exit address has not changed, check whether the system proxy is enabled, whether the current mode handles only some requests, and whether the browser is still using an old connection. After checking the exit, open the website or app you actually need and confirm that pages load and that login and content requests complete normally.
Test with a real use case rather than relying only on the client’s status indicator. If a webpage opens but an app cannot connect, check per-app rules. If the app works but media is served from the wrong region, switch to a route in the matching region and reopen the app. If no webpages resolve after connecting, check DNS or switch to a compatibility mode offered by the client. Change one setting at a time and test again so you can identify what made a difference.
Confirm that the exit address matches the selected route region and rule out a channel that is not handling the traffic.
Open a familiar webpage and confirm that DNS resolution, page resources, and login requests all complete.
Return to the target app and use it normally to determine whether a per-app routing issue is involved.
If the result is still abnormal after switching routes, update the subscription, then fully quit and restart the client. When submitting a support ticket, include the operating system, client name, stage where the issue occurred, selected route region, client error text, and troubleshooting steps already completed. Do not include the full subscription link or account password. Details that closely match the moment of failure make it easier to determine whether the cause is account status, client configuration, or local networking.
NEXT / TROUBLESHOOT
Post-Connection Maintenance
For everyday use, keep the subscription in the client; you do not need to import it again each time. If the route list does not update, some regions disappear, or the configuration has not refreshed for a long time, update the subscription first. When changing devices, copy the subscription again from Account Overview and import it on the new device. NeeVPN supports unlimited devices, but account and subscription information should still be stored only on devices you control.
This completes the main path for first-time use. Frequent disconnections, slowdowns during busy periods, DNS issues, failed subscription updates, mobile background disconnects, and apps that do not use the proxy require symptom-by-symptom diagnosis. These topics are beyond this quick guide; continue with the systematic troubleshooting documentation. For billing, refunds, or account rules, visit the relevant FAQ category.
